NEXT!!!

Oh man i just couldn't wait to post these film stills of Carl Sagan from Cosmos, this is from episode VIII: "Travels In Space and Time" where he talks about traveling at the speed of light and what can be accomplished.

Anyway I'm thinking about redoing my caricature since i haven't done it in a while. I have some pictures of him looking in all directions to help me, but what I want to show you is this!

Here's what he might look like if you were a pretty lady across the bar.

oink.

I wish VLS were better quality... i'm sure it can i'm just an idiot.

Pucker up, if you were Ann Duyran this might of been a fimiliar sight.

Sagan's famous Church Lady impersonation.

About to puke on your favorite shirt.

This...

is...

flattering.

Look how bummed out Sagan looks in H.G. Welles time machine. Cheer up, I'm sure you'll get it to work some day.

actually, you know what that thing makes me think of?

Here's a clip from the actual episode.

Thanks to Aaron for pointing out that i need to add the bottom lip in his caricature! and for being the first to comment.

Preston Blair!

Here's more Preston Blair goodness!

pooches!

oh man, so the image above was done by me, but below my 9 year old step sister want to do it too and below is her attempt.

this is just... i can't even... just... wow, just wow. (Yes i know, I'm a terrible person) When i asked her to draw a sphere she couldn't do it, so i have a feeling that's where the problem might lay.

Giada

I like her dad (or granddad?) Dino de Laurentis better, i think they way she says certain foods is incredibly annoying and forced. However, her boney and square smile make for a good caricature. This is done in Painter, i'm still getting used to it but I seem to be getting the hang of it.

Corel Painter

I just got painter. I've noticed on a couple blogs use it from time to time, I found it hard to believe that it was a digital painting (it looked pretty convincing) so I decided to obtain this program to see what it was all about. Here are some "paintings" I did just to get a feel of the program.

it's pretty fun and very convincing. I'll think i'll be using this more often but i still need to get used to program.

Ren

Got a Ren & Stimpy DVD from Netflix! It contains one of my favorite episodes, Sven Hoek! I got to snag some stills for references some of the expressions are just brilliant. Also mixed in there are expressions from the pilot "Big House Blues" there's a bizarre scene after Ren yells in Stimpy's ear about the big sleep where they're just sitting making the weirdest faces for about 20 seconds, I don't know what it has to do with anything but it's my favorite part!

i did these (above) first. not very good, i haven't drawn other people's drawings in a while

These are much better, i guess the first three are just warm ups.

Here are a couple others i snagged. These are just fantastic! Kudos to whoever animated Ren threatening Sven and Stimpy the quality was impeccable I couldn't believe it was for TV.

Lost in an Ocean of Umbrella's

I'm going to do some more with a theme of umbrella's, but for now this is it.

Mall Man

drew some doodles of people at a mall food court today. This is just one, i think i'm going to finish many others to share. If you're wondering about the girl in his head, it's just an old drawing i don't care for anymore and decided to draw over.
