oh man, so the image above was done by me, but below my 9 year old step sister want to do it too and below is her attempt.

this is just... i can't even... just... wow, just wow. (Yes i know, I'm a terrible person) When i asked her to draw a sphere she couldn't do it, so i have a feeling that's where the problem might lay.

Giada

I like her dad (or granddad?) Dino de Laurentis better, i think they way she says certain foods is incredibly annoying and forced. However, her boney and square smile make for a good caricature. This is done in Painter, i'm still getting used to it but I seem to be getting the hang of it.

Corel Painter

I just got painter. I've noticed on a couple blogs use it from time to time, I found it hard to believe that it was a digital painting (it looked pretty convincing) so I decided to obtain this program to see what it was all about. Here are some "paintings" I did just to get a feel of the program.

it's pretty fun and very convincing. I'll think i'll be using this more often but i still need to get used to program.

Ren

Got a Ren & Stimpy DVD from Netflix! It contains one of my favorite episodes, Sven Hoek! I got to snag some stills for references some of the expressions are just brilliant. Also mixed in there are expressions from the pilot "Big House Blues" there's a bizarre scene after Ren yells in Stimpy's ear about the big sleep where they're just sitting making the weirdest faces for about 20 seconds, I don't know what it has to do with anything but it's my favorite part!

Here are a couple others i snagged. These are just fantastic! Kudos to whoever animated Ren threatening Sven and Stimpy the quality was impeccable I couldn't believe it was for TV.

Mall Man

drew some doodles of people at a mall food court today. This is just one, i think i'm going to finish many others to share. If you're wondering about the girl in his head, it's just an old drawing i don't care for anymore and decided to draw over.
